Hello and welcome, my name is Dr. David Byron BA Hons, MA, MEd, Doc Ed Psy, Dip App Hyp., Cert Ed. I am a professional, qualified, insured and full time Hypnotherapist with many years of experience in Psychology and the therapy field. I am a chartered Psychologist and Hypnotherapist, currently practicing Hypnotherapy in Hampshire. More specifically in Winchester, Southampton, Andover, Basingstoke and Fareham.

I completed my doctoral research at UCL on the use of Hypnosis and established an evidence base for the effectiveness of this approach. I have contributed to training in the use of hypnosis at University College London. I am an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society, a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and an accredited EMDR therapist. I also use hypnosis as an adjunct to my professional training and expertise in psychology.

I am a member of the largest Hypnotherapy team in the South of England; Redwood Health Therapies in Winchester and various other affiliated locations in Southampton, Eastleigh, Fareham, Andover and Basingstoke. My main target audience for Hypnotherapy is in Hampshire.

I have many years of experience. If you suffer from Anxiety, Low Self Esteem, Fears or Phobias or Stress then I can help you. To give you a few examples I also help people to address Depression, Sleep Disorders, PTSD, Panic Attacks and other anxiety related issues.. Also helping people with performance difficulties e.g. driving tests, exams and interview anxiety.

I created, developed and directed the Hampshire Hypnotherapy Project for 9 years (highlighted in the BBC News) for young people with anxiety, depression or trauma related difficulties.
